Here is my newbie block and now I need help. What suggestions do you have for mostly the upper left hand corner and suggestions for the rest of the block. Thank you JeanneZ
Love the tree! You could also do a butterfly up in the sky. The right side looks a little dark (or maybe it's just the photograph). How about some lighter colored beads among the motif or maybe even some simple stitches along the edges of the "petals"? See Sharon B's blog for how she embellishes her tatted/crocheted bits. All in all, if this is your first effort, you are off to a GREAT start in CQing (Lesa, CQForNewbies)
Jeanne, You work fast! Whew! I like your tree also and especially like the swing. Nice addition to a tree! I like you use of tatting...did you do these. Since I know you have other 'gifts' and talents (like crochet, etc.) I figured you did! Certainly gotta admire crochet and tatting! Anyway, I am not one to give advice because I am a newbie too. But good for you!
You got a nice tree, Jeanne. What about a bird or two in the sky? I almost have your package ready. Ruby
